BUMO is a b**r-w**e collaboration between Burdock and Pearl Morissette Winery born out of friendship and mutual curiosity. We are excited to share our 12th and 13th iterations of this decade long project!
These two batches of BUMO are very special and very delicious. Both were made from an excellent blend of barrel aged b**rs and rosé grape skins from the 2025 harvest: one with Cabernet Franc, one with Gamay.
Available across the Burdoverse RN. See you at Bloor tonight for BUMO party! 5pm on - there will be cake!

Come join us at 5:00 on Wednesday October 21st at Bloor St. for a the 12th and 13th celebration of BUMO.
There will be cake! There will be ROSELANA on tap! There will be BUMO on tap! There will be Jenna from Pearl! There will be two new BUMOs that we think are some of the finest b**r-w**e hybrids we’ve ever made. Both are made from 2025 rosé skins (more details on the tech specs coming soon).

It’s almost BUMO time!
This Thursday evening there will be an off-site sneak peek two new BUMOs ( #12 and #13. Swing by Pinot Grouchio’s on Dundas West (6-9PM) or Durand Coffee & Bottle Shop in Hamilton (6-11pm) for a pre-release BTG taste of our what might be our best b**r-w**e hybrids ever! Both of these are TOP TOP rosé-based BUMOs.
If you’re a BIGBUMOFAN you might have noticed we didn’t release a BUMO last year and that’s because we didn’t feel we’d made anything worthy of the classification. However, 2025 was a glorious year and it bequeathed us not one, but two ordained BUMOs!
The official release of BUMO 12 & 13 will October 21st at 5pm at our Bottle Shops + PLUS + we are throwing a little party at Burdock Bloor. There will be cake! And Jenna from Pearl Morissette Winery ! And Roselana on tap!

A 2.5% ABV pilsner! Big pilsner energy with half the big pilsner abv.
Brewed with heaps of beautiful Saaz hops and Bohemian floor-malted pilsner malt, it’s a spicy-biscuity little l***r b**r.

🚨Apricot b**r with exceptional foam alert🚨
Fresh from the depths of our cellar comes Sproco Frizzante! A saison made with local Ontario apricots and yeast from a famous Belgian farmhouse brewery. It’s got big notes of candied apricots, wild strawberry, general orchard fruit, and nice spice. It’s not a sour b**r, but it has a harmonious pinch of acidity.
The b**r was aged in stainless steel for 1 year before a 6-week maceration on 400 lbs of ripe & juicy Ontario apricots. Bottle-conditioned for superb foam.
