P2A Recap!
What a treat it was to be the official beer sponsor of Ontario’s most classic gravel race: Paris to Ancaster. It amazing to meet so many new faces (thirsty faces) and to see the winners rocking the custom jerseys that we designed and made.
Can’t say enough positive things about P2A – we were stoked to be there and stoked that people were stoked that we were stoked to be there being stoked. Big thanks to our team for handling the crush of 3000 mud covered thirsty rider and to and the whole organization for having us.

Have you been down to Kensington Tavern since its reincarnation as the (world’s first?) brewery-steakhouse? Here are a few tantalizing pics of the NY strip from Penokean Hills Farms, ON that we get through . Dry aged and served with beef jus, fries and aioli. Come cozy up to one of these 12oz puppies in the dining room and celebrate the romance of Spring and beef.

❤️ JAPAN ❤️
Back in January we shipped John and Anthony over to Japan for our second Burdock reconnaissance mission. We’ve been sending beer to Japan for over 5 years in partnership with .inc who is run by Taketo and Tomoyuki. They have been HUGE champions of Ontario craft beer in Japan and it was amazing to see how much it’s grown even since we last visited in 2023.
John and Anthony visited 6 breweries, 20+ bars/restaurants that serve our beers, and ran two beer seminars (in Tokyo + Osaka), and tapped 2 pin casks of Mild!
These photos are a few snapshot of the amazing people they met with during the trip. They were blown away by the passion, kindness and curiosity of everyone they met - craft beer in Japan is in very good hands! Special thanks to Tomoyuki for being the best host / food guide / translator / travel companion of all time 🙏🙏🙏

Salt Lick!
A slightly salty Non-Alcoholic Sour Lime Beer. It’s tart, a little salty, very limey – drinks like a margarita & Gatorade love child. One of our favourite NAs to date!
Did you know that our Non-Alcs are highly rated on Untappd? Both our NA Stout Swoon and NA Lager Deluxe Zero won Gold community awards this year 💪! Salt Lick was brewed with the same techniques. If you loved our NA Key Lime Gose you’re going to really love Salt Lick (very similar, slightly tweaked recipe)!

Hey,
It’s our 11th Birthday tomorrow (Friday March 14th) and we’d love it if you came by for some cake. We also made 50 of these unhinged t-shirts with ~200 names of beers we’ve released over the years - the actual number we’ve made is more like 500+ but we picked favourites. Come and grab one tomorrow if want to own this cultural artifact (there’s a few down at Kensington too).
Tomorrow will be fun, we’ve got 6 grape ales on tap, 5 by the glass, a special guest lager from , we’re going to tap a cask of mild, and there’s a special food menu!

A brand new juicy IPA brewed with both classic and experimental hops from plus some choice New Zealand hops from .
Expect pillowy notes of mango lassi and orange creamsicle. It’s soft, juicy and dry all at once - a difficult balance to strike when brewing modern IPAs - but how we like them best!
Disco is big again with the ducklings, you heard it here first. Available on all classic Burdock channels RN.
