Guys our social media manager is on vacation so I’m taking this as my opportunity to share 6 months’ worth of rejected content. Please keep your expectations low… the food looks great in person, I promise. Turns out I’m better at plating food the food than framing a shot.

We celebrated our one year anniversary earlier this month, which feels surreal because we’re pretty sure we opened like 20 minutes ago…

A year ago we opened the doors not really knowing what we were getting ourselves into. We knew we wanted to create a place we loved, but we couldn’t have imagined the year that followed.

The biggest part of it has been the people. OUR TEAM— truly the best and the reason this place is what it is. Our neighbourhood has welcomed us so quickly- we are so grateful to be part of the Harbord Village community and the best neighbourhood in the city!! Our suppliers who have supported us and given us incredible products to work with. And every single person who has come through the doors, whether once or every week.

We’re really proud of what we’ve built, very grateful for everyone who has been part of it, and still kind of amazed that we get to do this.

One year down. Thank you for being part of it. We can’t wait to do this forever.
