Getting the keys to this rustic and warm little place was a very big deal for me.
I don’t have a business degree or much experience in retail and I don’t know what I’m looking at most of the time when I see my reports… I’m learning. Sort of.
But what I do know is nutrition and the incredible power behind cold pressed juices and why I had to bring them to you.
In 2022, I lost my amazing sister to Metastatic Breast Cancer (she was only 52). During her short diagnosis I had moved my practice to solely work with women who have breast cancer.
This completely changed the way I practice nutrition; it deeply influenced how I live my life, what I want to do and who I want to become.
Early last year I started to realize that my nutrition practice was too small and I had to switch gears. I was seeing and learning so much that I wanted to reach more people.
Cold pressed juices had become my new passion. I was making them for my clients and the positive impact on their bloodwork and their quality of life felt quite magical at times.
But not just that, whether they juiced themselves or I did it for them, it helped them to feel like they had some control over something that was making them feel so helpless so much of the time.
These are the women who greatly inspired and supported me in opening the juicery.
Being able to put Murphy Greens Family Juicery together (on a wing and a prayer, lol) for my own fulfillment has been a big part of my grieving process and my tribute to my sister who inspired me everyday.
