La Bastille Boulangerie Patisserie is a French bakery and coffee shop founded by Martial Ribreau and Heather Mackintosh Ribreau, offering an extensive selection of pastries, breads, and coffee. As a graduate of the renowned Jean Ferrandi Culinary School in Paris, Martial brings to Toronto over ten years of experience in some of the finest bakeries along the Champs Elysées. Customers can indulge in unique pastry and bread recipes developed by Martial at bakeries around the city, including Le Comptoir de Celestin and Petite Thuet. Additionally, Martial has been passing on his skills to students at George Brown College for more than five years, co-developing the Post-Graduate Advanced French Pastry program there. La Bastille provides a truly authentic French baking experience to its customers.
