Firehouse Subs is not your ordinary sub shop. We were founded by real firefighters, and our stores are full of hard-working, fun-loving people with a genuine drive for success. The Restaurant Manager must manage all employees, and ensure all guests expectations are exceeded during their visit.
Some of your duties will include:
Inventory Management
To maintain daily prep routines
To put away and organize food and beverage orders
To work various shifts, including closing the restaurant up to 2 nights a week, and as needed to cover for assistant-manager holidays and shift leaders
Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant
Prepare schedules and ensure restaurant is properly staffed
Responsible for controllable costs: Food and Labour
Measure and evaluate performance standards (KPI's)
Develop and implement plans for continuous service improvement.
Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are followed.
To maintain cleaning routines
Qualifications and Skills
2 year restaurant general management experience, although 1-2 years supervisor role in a QSR type of environment would be an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Willingness to learn

To reach the South Service Road location in Toronto by public transport, you may take the GO Transit bus or train and get off at Clarkson Station. From there, you can walk for about 15 minutes to reach your destination.
If you prefer to drive or take a taxi, you can take the QEW highway and exit at Southdown Road/Clarkson Road North. Then turn left onto Lakeshore Road West and continue until you reach your destination on South Service Road. There is available parking space near the restaurant; however, it's recommended to check for parking restrictions before leaving your car.
