In Mexico, Pan de Mu**to (Spanish for 'Bread of the Dead') is traditionally baked in the weeks leading up to the Día de Mu**tos (Day of the Dead), celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. This sweet bread features a round bun or dome shape, with a sweetened, soft texture flavored with orange zest, orange blossom, and anise.
