Following the devastating floods in Nepal, The Thamel Express dedicated all customer tips and donations collected from August 26 to September 30 to support those affected.

The response from our community was truly meaningful. We even had customers travel from Oshawa and Barrie specifically to contribute to the flood relief effort and support a local Nepali-owned business. Your kindness means more to us than we can express. ๐Ÿ™

The Thamel Express added another $135.05 CAD, bringing the total donation to:

The $2,000 CAD was transferred through RBC to Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. The Thamel Express also covered the $45 international wire-transfer fee separately.

We are sharing our transfer receipt because we believe in being transparent with everyone who trusted us with their contributions.

Beyond fundraising, our goal was also to raise awareness about climate change and the devastating impact extreme weather can have on Nepal and communities around the world.

- If youโ€™re coming from outside Scarborough, use National Rail to Scarborough station, then follow the steps above.
