Another cold Toronto night, and Sam Broverman filling the room with classic jazz.
Outside, winter does its thing. Inside AVIV, the music is warm, the glasses are full, and the night feels just right.
This is what we love—great artists, good food, and that feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.
Toronto may be freezing, but at AVIV, we’re just fantastic.

In the depth of winter, Camus reminds us, we discover an invincible summer within.
Outside, the snowstorm claimed the city. Inside AVIV, we turned up the heat.
Warm lights, clinking glasses, shared tables—and FUEGO igniting the room.
This was more than an event.
A drag king performance by El Experimento, bold, theatrical, electric—commanding the space like only true art can. Movement, music, expression, joy.
AVIV is where winter doesn’t win.
Where community gathers, creativity burns, and even on the coldest nights, warmth lives—in food, in people, in fearless performance.
Toronto, this is our invincible summer.
This is AVIV. 🔥❄️

Some days at AVIV feel extra special.
Today is one of those days.
Outside, it’s one of the coldest days in Canada. Snow everywhere, faces hidden in scarves, the city rushing to stay warm. And then I look inside AVIV… and this is what I see.
Families sitting together.
Friends catching up.
Little ones having brunch in their high chairs, curious, calm, happy.
Parents relaxed, coffee in hand, plates being shared, conversations flowing.
The windows are foggy from the warmth inside. Food coming out of the kitchen, coffee being poured, laughter filling the room. It feels slow, real, human. Exactly how AVIV was meant to feel.
This is why we do what we do.
A place where kids are welcome, friends feel at home, and no matter how cold it is outside, there’s always a table waiting for you.
Just another winter day at AVIV Immigrant Kitchen —
full of warmth, food, and people we love. 🤍

A cold Monday, a warm room, and art everywhere.
Thank you Ian Wright for an inspiring master class that filled AVIV with creativity, conversation, and clinking glasses.
Where drinks meet ideas, and art happens all the time.

Outside, the cold insists.
Snow keeps falling, quietly, endlessly.
Inside AVIV, the night breathes differently.
Jazz curls through the room like smoke and memory,
glasses clink, wine warms the hands,
and strangers lean closer, becoming friends.
While winter holds the streets,
we hold music, food, and each other.
At AVIV, there is always warmth—
always wine, always love.
