IST Eatery was Toronto's first-ever Indian snack bar located on Queen Street West. They served a variety of Indian snacks and dishes, including their famous vegan butter chicken. In April 2020, they decided to use their resources to cook for front line workers in the GTA and asked for donations for the cost of meals. The restaurant was open for takeout until Sunday 12-7 pm. Unfortunately, IST Eatery has been permanently closed since then.

Hey guys, I hope you're all well during this time. One of our restaurants has decided to use our resources to cook for front line workers in the GTA. Our Chefs are donating their time and we are looking for donations for the costs of the meals. The meals cost $4.00, and we're hoping to raise 300 meals a week. If you can donate anything at all I'd really appreciate it. Donations can be sent via email to [email protected].
