This post is to address an incident which we recently experienced and we feel our valued customers should be aware of. A candidate named Mandeep Kaur was brought in for training at Bombay Zone Whitby location, who did not meet our performance expectations and was unfortunately not retained.
Regrettably, this individual has since encouraged others to leave false 1-star reviews and spread misinformation about our restaurant, including claims that we waste students' time and don't pay them. She also contacted a page named on Instagram to encourage people to spread the negative image for our restaurant.
So here's our side of story.
We have posted screenshots of all the conversations we had with her through emails.
She is accusing us of wasting her one month when in fact we did inform her after her very 2nd day of training that if she's not able to perform according to standards by the end of her 3rd day of training, we will continue with her training, which was on 23rd of June (definitely not a month before) as you all can see in one of the screen shots.
We have been running a business for the past 6 years and honesty and integrity are core values we believe in and look for in every candidate.
At Bombay Zone, we strive for excellence in both our food and our work environment. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance, but our commitment to quality means we must maintain high standards.
