In the words of one of our owners: “They teach you that you can’t be emotional about business decisions. While I do agree with that, it feels very different when it’s something you’ve invested in, built and nurtured personally. So with our lease coming to an end, this is the right business decision, but it still stings personally to close up shop at our Yonge & Sheppard location. I am grateful to my partners who run the business, managers over the years and team members who gave it their all. It will be a business and experience I will cherish forever, and mainly because of the people involved.
While we’ll be open until this Monday, we are hosting a Farewell Party this Saturday starting at 5 pm. For those who would like one last glimpse (or drink) please drop by. I’ll likely be at the bar 😆

To our valued friends, employees and guests of Union Social Eatery, Yonge and Shepard,
After 10 years of creating a space filled with good food, good vibes and unforgettable memories, we have some very difficult news to share. It is with humble gratitude and heavy hearts that we announce the closing of our Yonge and Sheppard location on March 24, 2025. It has been a pleasure serving the North York community and we will always cherish the memories that we have created together. Thank you for your unwavering support over the years, it has meant the world to us. However, we do hope that this isn't goodbye and that we will see you again at one of our other three locations.
P.S. We hope that you will join us on March 22 at 5 pm for one final hooray. We will be hosting a good bye party for guests and alumni and hope to see you.

The Union Social Eatery is located on Yonge Street, Toronto. If you plan on using public transport to reach the eatery, you can take the subway and get off at the nearest station, which is Yonge Station. From there, it's a short walk of about 5-10 minutes to reach the destination.
If you prefer driving, it's best to park your car at one of the nearby parking spaces available. Some of the parking options available include Green P Parking and Impark Parking. You can also use apps like Parkopedia or SpotHero to find parking spots in advance.
Once you have parked your car, head towards Yonge Street and then look for the Union Social Eatery signboard located near the street corner. The eatery should be easy to spot from there.
