As we celebrate Earth Day, we give thanks to this wonderful planet of ours by taking care of it, by protecting it and by making it a healthier and greener place to live.
We knew from the get go that we didn't want to be just another delivery service. Our priority at ZipLunch was and still is to reduce restaurant food waste and reduce our Carbon footprint.
By allowing restaurants to know ahead of time the menu items we'll be featuring and not allowing order modifications, they can effectively plan their meal preps for the day which allows for less food wastage.
Additionally, our carbon footprint reducing model is utilizing 1 vehicle per delivery zone serving around 100 customers, which as a result, reduces our CO2 emissions by up to 90%.
Fittingly, today happens to mark our 2 year anniversary, so Happy Birthday to us, and Happy Earth Day everyone! 🌎

From downtown Toronto, take the Gardiner Expressway westbound and exit onto Highway 427 north. Take the Burnhamthorpe Road exit and turn left onto Burnhamthorpe Road. Turn right onto Kipling Avenue and then left onto Bloor Street West. There is parking available in the area, including street parking and paid lots.
