Recent Eats on the West end/. We always try to support local restaurants around us when we can because we know how difficult it can be as a small business sometimes. We are always grateful for the local community who show up every week! It's always also a nice treat at the end of the week 😁
Looking forward going again and exploring more!

OKONOMIYAKI GALETTE 🥓🧅🌸
Cherry Blossoms are in FULL BLOOM this weekend in High park! We will have okonomiyaki galettes to celebrate the occasion! Available Friday to Sunday this weekend.
When I first moved to Japan in my 20s. One of the first things I was invited to with my co-workers was OHANAMI. My Japanese level was not very good at the time and I could not understand what we were going to do 😂.
We went to a nearby park from the pastry shop, bought snacks and laid out a blanket, sat underneath the cherry blossom trees and just enjoyed 🙂. It took me a minute to understand that we were there to celebrate the short-lived cherry blossom bloom that comes every year. It has become one of my most vivid and cherished memories of Japan.
Come by the shop this weekend to grab some snacks and treats and go to Ohanami in high park!

Hand dipping chocolate bonbons are a labour of love, I particularly love enrobed dark chocolate ganaches and the best way to do them is in a slab for the best texture.
Working my way to getting a enrober one day lol Starting a self funded small business means I don't have a lot for capital to start with but where there is a will there is a way. Little by little, which is how I started this business anyway!
These are going into my mother's Day heart boxes by the way so make sure to grab one!

👉🏼😂Watch to the end
One of the many hats I inherited as a small business owner was social media manager/content creator. It has been a necessary part of business and something we don't always appreciate.
The truth is, if we don’t showcase our products for the public to see in this digital age, people simply won’t know we exist. No matter how good the product is, no matter how much care goes into it—visibility matters just as much as quality now.
So between baking, planning, sourcing, and serving, there’s also filming, editing, posting, and engaging. It’s not always glamorous, and it’s definitely not why most of us started, but it’s become part of the craft in its own way.
I’m still learning to find the balance between creating for the camera and creating for the shop… but at the end of the day, if sharing a small piece of what we do brings someone through the door, then maybe it’s worth wearing the extra hat.
So hope enjoy this video, it's definitely not perfect but it's something 😂😂😂

One of the first things I learned when I worked was how to pipe Madeleines, FAST. These were served warm after every meal and EVERY table got them. When you were on the line alone during a busy service, this wasn't just technique it was survival 😂.
