Please join the Eco Just Youth Co-op in a workshop highlighting the rethinking of food access and knowledge practiced at the downtown Pop-Up Market that they run on Wednesdays.
This workshop will feature the cooking, histories, and market perspectives of Chef Camille Mayers, whose training and amplification of Caribbean cuisine is a staple part of the market's offerings.
Chef Mayers will be teaching select dishes from their repertoire that will give audiences new insights into Caribbean cuisine and its integration with westernized cooking methods, its replication in the GTA, and the role of the localized farmers' market in supplying culturally-relevant foodstuffs.
