Turns out the best way to reconnect is to disconnect for a little.

Last week, we took 80 creators to eos Products Camp Smooth for a few days inspired by the nostalgia of summer camp. Our time at Camp Walden Canada included bonfires, camp games, karaoke and, of course, making new friends.

Our fxm team is always looking for ways to tap into the memory bank, creating experiences that bring people into the present while leaving an impression that lasts well beyond the moment.

For Camp Smooth, that meant less screen time, more time connecting with ourselves and each other, and a few new core memories along the way.

From vision board to real life.

We brought Youth to the People's Supper Club to Toronto and Vancouver, built around the simple idea of creating more intimate and intentional spaces for people to actually connect.

Rather than the brand playing host, we tapped local tastemakers to shape each night through the lens of their own city - Sharla Farrell and Easy Sips in Vancouver and Sam Bolianatz in Toronto - bringing together their communities for two distinct gatherings rooted in good food, conversation and, of course, skincare.

With around the corner, we’re looking back at some recent film work 🎬

This summer, Faulhaber partnered with Blue Fox Entertainment Canada on the Canadian release of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary, a film from Academy Award-winning director Giuseppe Tornatore chronicling the life and philosophy of Italian designer and entrepreneur Brunello Cucinelli.

Blending documentary, archival footage, and recreations, the film follows Cucinelli from his childhood in rural Umbria to building one of Italy’s most recognized luxury houses, while exploring the ideas that have shaped his approach.

Ahead of its Canadian theatrical release, our team set out to build a conversation that went beyond traditional film coverage. We tapped into the many stories within the film to reach audiences across film, fashion, and lifestyle media.

The campaign generated top-tier coverage, including interviews with The Globe and Mail Style Magazine, ELLE Canada, and more.

A summer at Faulhaber, from our intern Ali Ozturk’s POV ✍️

A summer of opportunities, growth, and a lot of learning about the world of PR. From being in the rooms where culture happens in real time to learning how to put myself out there, show up fully, and make the most of every opportunity, this summer pushed me to grow in more ways than one.

Grateful for the people, experiences, and moments that made it one to remember.

Swipe for 5 things I learned along the way.

One tournament. Countless ways to show up. ⚽️🇨🇦

As the AOR for Levi's in Canada, we teamed up with BYNK on campaign production and Victory Creative on XM to bring Canadian pride to life through style and community. From the Ringer Tee campaign with AFC player Kaila Novakand local KOLs to Levi’s® FC Lounge watch parties at Ace Hotel Toronto and the tournament finale in Vancouver at Mount Pleasant Vintage, Levi's brought the energy of the global tournament home, putting Canadian pride front and centre.

Across every moment, Levi’s® turned match days into high-energy cultural experiences, bringing fans, the community, and the Red Tab™ members together through football, fashion, music, and connection.

A few weeks ago, our Montreal team joined Co-working Girls for an evening of networking, conversation and community.

With 100+ women from across industries in the room, it was an opportunity to exchange ideas, meet new people and build new relationships.

At Faulhaber, relationships are at the heart of what we do. We’re always looking for ways to stay connected to the communities around us, create meaningful conversations and build relationships that extend beyond the work.

Base31 is a cultural hub and future community in the heart of Prince Edward County. Formerly a historic air training base in Picton, the site is evolving into a multi-layered destination where culture, connection, and community come together.

Coming this September, Base Living is launching its Discovery Centre, where future homeowners can explore the homes, the community, and the details designed to help future residents imagine what life here actually looks like.

We’re helping build awareness and momentum for this next chapter through strategic media and influencer relations.

The brands falling short in 2026 are not failing because of bad creative. They are failing because their communications strategy was never built as one thing.

Brigid Savage, Manager of Strategy and PR, and Stephanie Rambharos, Content Manager of Social and Influencer, Influencer, see it consistently: the moment a brand stops treating PR, social, and content as separate workstreams and commits to a single brand truth across all of them, the performance shifts. Faulhaber's integrated clients are the proof. A 360 campaign anchored to one clear story hits differently than a fragmented one, every time.

There is also a channel shift worth paying attention to right now. TikTok is no longer just a content platform. It is a search engine, and a growing number of consumers, particularly younger ones, are using it exactly that way. Brands that have not optimized for discoverability there are already behind.

The through line across all of it is the same. Comms is not a department. It is the whole picture, and the agencies that build it that way are the ones delivering results that compound.

The influencer campaigns that underperform have something in common: the creator was the last call, not the first.

Emma Coker, Senior Manager of Influencer Relations, and Gaby Lamy, Director, are clear on what separates a campaign that moves product from one that just moves impressions. Creators are brand ambassadors. The brands building long-term relationships with the right ones, and bringing them into the strategy early, are the ones seeing compounding returns.

The organic and paid dynamic matters too. Paid gives you control over the narrative. Organic builds the credibility that makes people trust it. Neither works as well without the other.

And the brief? It should be a guardrail, not a script. Over-prescribed content loses the thing that makes creator marketing work in the first place: a real person speaking in their own voice to an audience that actually listens to them.

That is the difference between influence and just paid placement.

The Canadian consumer is not a monolith, and the brands treating them like one are leaving real growth on the table.

Tara Anderson, Director of PR, has built her practice around a clear conviction: diversity and representation are not checkboxes. They are the lens through which effective communications strategy gets built in this market. To back that up, Faulhaber develops proprietary surveys that go beyond assumptions and into actual consumer behaviour, giving clients the data to activate with confidence.

The through line is simple. Purpose and growth are not in tension. They reinforce each other. The brands that understand the communities they are speaking to, and show up for them with intention, are the ones building long-term loyalty.

That commitment extends to how Faulhaber operates as a business. As a 1% for the Planet member, the agency directs 1% of all annual sales toward environmental initiatives, because seeing you bigger has always meant thinking beyond the immediate win.

There is a reason experiential is having its moment, and Margot James, Director of fxm, would tell you it is not complicated. People are tired of screens. They want to be somewhere, feel something, remember it.

The difference between an event people attend and an experience people talk about comes down to one thing: intentionality. The best activations are not just well-produced. They tap into memory. They engage every sense. They feel like the brand, not just a room the brand rented for the evening.

fxm was built to close that gap. Between a brief and a moment that converts. Between showing up and being unforgettable. In 2026, that kind of presence is not a nice-to-have. It is the strategy.
