Congrats to Brendan “Sound Guy” Kennedy for winning Tour Manager of the Year at The Live Music Awards at Departure.
Many years ago, a recent graduate applied to be a sound tech at Sneaky Dee’s. He got the job and received many discounted nacho platters (King’s Crown Nachos without the beans). He treated every gig as if he were doing sound at an arena, with incredible passion, care and attention to detail.
Fast forward to 2026: He’s toured the world, managed successful bands on the road, and mixed at Scotiabank Arena, RBC Amphitheatre and countless festivals. While still being the most down-to-earth person you could meet. That’s our “Sound Guy”.
And yes, Brendan still gets a food discount at Sneaky Dee’s even though he doesn’t need it anymore. Here’s to many more years of success in the music industry. 🍻

To get to the bar and diner and Tex-Mex restaurant located on College Street West in Toronto, there are several options for public transportation. You can take a subway (Line 1 - University) to Queen's Park Station, then transfer to streetcar 506 going westbound from the stop at the main entrance of the station. Get off at Bathurst St stop and walk about 5 minutes towards College St W. Alternatively, you can take any streetcar heading westbound along College St W and get off at Bathurst St Stop.
If you prefer driving, drive towards Bathurst Street intersection with College Street West, which is one of the most popular areas for parking in downtown Toronto. There are several paid outdoor parking lots nearby where you can park your car. Additionally, there is also an underground parking garage at the southwest corner of College Street West and Bathurst Street that charges hourly or daily rates.
Please note that this information is not directed towards Sneaky Dee's but may be useful if you are looking to visit places around that intersection.
