Public Transport:
Take the subway to St. Clair West Station, and from there, take bus #512 or #126 heading eastbound towards Gunn's Loop. Alight at Bathurst St and Forest Hill Rd stop and walk southwards towards Forest Laneway.
Driving/Parking:
From downtown Toronto, take Bathurst Street northbound until you reach Forest Hill Rd. Turn left onto Forest Hill Rd and then left again onto Forest Laneway. There is limited street parking available along the laneway and neighbouring streets.

Mama's Plate, located in Forest Laneway, Toronto, is a caterer that offers an authentic Lebanese and Mediterranean cooking experience. The owner, Joumana Jurdi, has a passion for cooking that was developed during her high school years when she first took lessons in cooking and home science. She loved to cook with her mother and spent long hours in the kitchen learning scrumptious traditional Lebanese recipes using fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch.
After completing her BA in Business Management, Joumana started a new career in education where she became a homeroom teacher for 25 years at a private International school called "IC". She had the chance to share her passion for cooking with the students by giving them cooking lessons and having them explore and create their own recipes.
Today, Mama's Plate offers fun and informal hands-on Lebanese and Mediterranean cooking lessons held at Joumana's home in a friendly and relaxing environment. The duration of each lesson is three hours from 10:00 am till 01:00 pm. During the lesson, you can truly understand our culture and passion for food.
