Save Your Local – We need your support to help our local restaurants survive!
‘Save Your Local’ is a campaign with a mission to provide support to as many restaurants as possible across Toronto so they are able to stay open during and after this pandemic.
There are three ways YOU can help support your local restaurants:
1) Donate to our fund (see link below) – Every $1 helps. Think of it like ‘paying your tip forward’
2) Encourage restaurants to join the initiative
3) Share this message with your network
The money raised will be divided among all restaurants on board the campaign and will be allocated in two ways. One will be to help cover the restaurants fixed costs and the other will be to pay the hardworking employees of this industry.
Our local restaurants do not need a loan or a subsidy, they need funds to keep their doors open and provide their employees jobs to return to. The government bailout is NOT enough to save our city’s restaurant industry, we need the people to help keep these restaurants alive through COVID-19.
