❤️THANK YOU❤️ To the teams at Marben & The Cloak Bar to our trusted partners & suppliers, and to our loyal guests, none of this would have been possible without you. 🫶🏼
The concept of Marben has always been inspired by owner Simon Benstead’s parents (Mary + Ben = 'Marben') sense of genuine hospitality. For the past 16 years, Marben has exuded the genuine welcome and ambiance of a family home that is filled with laughter, music, and good food. 🏠 😊🎵🍴
Marben is a Canadian home with British roots that we are honoured to have shared with you all. 💕
Here are some of the photos from our Family and Friends event earlier this week. 👋🏼

"Saying goodbye to Marben won't be easy for me. Lots of restaurants today are corporate or part of large conglomerates — but Marben was one of those rare independent places that truly lived by its values. We prepared food with the palette and the planet in mind. We stood for equality and believed in our people. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality and exquisite meals. Whatever comes next for myself and the team, we walk away from 488 Wellington Street West armed with jars of memories and the knowledge of what makes a restaurant truly special.” - ❤️Chris Locke
