At Kiin, we’re passionate about showcasing ingredients that make Thai cuisine so special. Today, we’re highlighting galangal, an aromatic root that’s essential in many of our dishes.
Often compared to ginger, galangal has its own distinct flavour—it’s bold, peppery, and slightly citrusy, adding a depth that elevates soups, curries, and sauces. You’ll find this powerful ingredient in such dishes as our Tom Kha Scallop and Northern Thai Chicken Curry.
Join us and experience the unique and authentic flavours of Thailand, one bite at a time! Reserve your table today. 🍴✨

Sake lovers, this one’s for you! 🍶✨ Kikuchi Sake Brewery’s Sanzen Omachi Tokubetsu Junmai is a true gem crafted from Okayama's rare heirloom Omachi rice, once famous in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Known for its earthy, mellow, and aromatic notes, Omachi rice is notoriously hard to grow but worth every effort. This sake is polished to an impressive 40%--an incredibly high ratio for Omachi rice due to its delicate rice husk--making it a “Tokubetsu” or “special” Junmai.
With notes of mushrooms, earth, and spice, it’s a perfect match for the cozy autumn season. Enjoy it chilled or warmed, paired beautifully with our Kanom Jeen Sao Nam. 🍴🍂
Available by the bottle, the glass, or as part of our sake pairing to accompany your 12- or 7-course tasting menu.

✨ Farewell to Brunch at Kiin ✨
After much thought and consideration, we’ve made the decision to end our brunch service to allow our team to refocus and dedicate more energy and attention to enhancing our dinner service. That means NEXT weekend (Oct 5 & 6) will be our last brunch service at Kiin. 🥂🍽️
We’ve loved serving you some of our favorite Thai brunch dishes and introducing you to some lesser-known gems, including the Shrimp Paste Fried Rice (Khao Kluck Kapi) and Khai Kratha. We’re so grateful to everyone who has joined us for brunch over the last year and a half and for all the support you’ve shown! 💜🙏
While we bid farewell to brunch at Kiin, this isn't completely the end! Stay tuned for updates on the relocation of some of our Kiin brunch dishes to one of our sister restaurants in the near future.
So join us for one final Thai brunch next weekend at Kiin and savour your favorites, like Boat Noodles, Khao Mun G*i, and Thai Rice Porridge, before we shift all our attention to crafting unforgettable dinner experiences.
Make sure to book your table now for our final brunch weekend—we can’t wait to see you there!
