The Simple Kitchen, a health food restaurant located on Roncesvalles Avenue, offered delicious and nutritious options for its customers. They even partnered with The John Tavares Foundation to create healthy gingerbread cookies featuring John Tavares’ number #91, with $3 from each cookie going towards the foundation's mission of promoting proper nutrition for children. Furthermore, they provided gourmet baskets during the holiday season that were customized and made with gluten-free and dairy-free products. Additionally, they were the first Canadian-based eatery to offer "Good for you cookie dough and dessert spreads". However, unfortunately, this restaurant has been permanently closed.
