If you are traveling to Bay Street in Toronto and looking for a family-style restaurant or a chicken restaurant, there are several options for public transport and driving/parking.
By Public Transport:
- Take the subway to Union Station and transfer to the 6 Bay bus northbound. Get off at Bay St. and walk for about 5 minutes to reach your destination.
- Alternatively, take the Union Pearson Express train from Pearson Airport or Union Station to the Billy Bishop Airport stop. From there, take the free shuttle bus to Bathurst St., then transfer to the 511 Bathurst streetcar northbound. Get off at Dundas St. W., which is about a 10-minute walk from your destination.
By Car:
- If you are coming from the north, take Highway 400 south to Highway 401 east, then exit at Yonge St. Follow Yonge St. south until you reach Dundas St., then turn right onto Bay St.
- If you are coming from the east or west, take Highway 401 to Yonge St., then follow directions above.
- There is limited street parking available in the area, but several paid parking lots and garages nearby including Impark on Elizabeth Street, just one block south of Dundas West station.
Please note that these directions are general guidelines for getting around Bay Street and do not mention any specific destinations such as Swiss Chalet. We recommend double-checking addresses and using GPS or maps for precise directions.
