Feel Good Friday ❤️ Meet Liam Wilson, an 11-year-old in Ontario battling cystic fibrosis. But his inspirational battle with cystic fibrosis hasn’t gotten in the way of Liam’s love for hockey. Liam’s mom, Deana, wanted to share his passion for the game with people she knew would appreciate it - us!
When we heard Liam’s story, we worked closely with our partners at Upper Deck to create a one-of-a-kind, custom Tim Hortons hockey trading card to fit in perfectly with the rest of his trading cards.
You’re an inspiration, Liam! 🏒

Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign was created in 1996 by Maureen Sauve, a Tim Hortons restaurant owner in Hamilton, ON. Maureen’s inspiration for the original local fundraiser was born out of an initiative to raise funds for a hospital ward that was treating her daughter at the time. Maureen’s inspiration transformed a local campaign into a nationally recognized cornerstone of Tim Hortons commitment to giving back.
Maureen’s vision 30 years ago continues to spread kindness, support, and smiles across communities every year and her legacy continues to prove as a reminder that even the smallest gesture can make a life-changing difference.
Until May 3, you can buy Smile Cookies at your local Tims - 100% of proceeds are donated to local charities and community groups hand picked by restaurant owners.
