Old York Bar & Grill was a cozy and inviting spot located in the heart of King Street West that served delicious Canadian cuisine and drinks. Their patio was a popular gathering spot for patrons to enjoy their meals and drinks while taking in the surrounding neighborhood. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been permanently closed as of December 23rd, 2022.

From downtown Toronto, head west on Queen Street until you reach Niagara Street. Turn right onto Niagara Street and continue until you reach the destination. If traveling by public transport, take the 511 Bathurst streetcar from downtown and get off at the Niagara Street stop. Alternatively, take the 63 Ossington bus from Ossington Subway Station and get off at Niagara Street. For drivers, there is street parking available on Niagara Street or nearby streets. Additionally, there is a paid parking lot located behind the building accessible from Tecumseth Street.

While it is sad to hear that Old York Bar & Grill will be closing its doors on December 23rd, we encourage everyone to stop by before then to catch up and say farewell. In the meantime, there are still plenty of reasons to visit Old York Bar & Grill, such as their famous Old York Caesar made with Worcester sauce, Tabasco, lime, Clamato juice, horseradish and vodka. Their Spicy Margarita is also a must-try cocktail made with tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, jalapeno peppers and a spicy rim.
