It’s been a long week.
Found a little corner in this city where the stress melts away, one sip at a time.
New home? Might be.

The first bite.
That small silence
when everyone
comes back to the table.

I haven’t decided what to say.
Only the colour
I’ll leave on the glass.

Who said comfort and style can’t sit at the same table? Wear the sunglasses indoors. Order the ravioli. Pour another glass.
Judgement doesn’t have a home here.

Every table here has its own story. We just gave it a room to be loud in.

Some walls get painted over. Ours…got a few layers added to it.
And that’s the point.

Il futuro appartiene a coloro che credono nella bellezza.
“The future belongs to those who believe in beauty.”
Beauty that’s been through something. Smudged, bruised, repainted more than once. And still it faces the light, wearing a new shade of VIOLETS 😉

This room used to look different. So did all of us at one point.
Cheers to whatever version of you got you to this table.

HAVE YOU BEEN TO VIOLETS BY STELVIO? 💜
Same Dundas West address. A whole new attitude.
We’ve drenched the room in violet, covered the walls in our ethos, brought graffiti into the mix and let the space show you what we stand for!
Our menu has evolved too. Still rooted in technique, but with fewer rules and a lot more instinct.
This is Violets by Stelvio.
Come see what we’ve become.

Sweet summer tomatoes, golden crispy bread, tender mussels, pickled onion and a bright, citrusy dressing that ties it all together.
Every bite is juicy, briny, crunchy and fresh, with that perfect hit of acidity that keeps you going back for another forkful.
It’s the kind of dish you want on a hot summer day: light and refreshing, but still completely satisfying.
Basically, summer in a bowl. 🐚🍅🌿

Charred baby gem lettuce drenched in green goddess sauce 🤤
We dare you to call this “just a salad.” Char it right, coat it in a sauce rich enough to make you forget it’s dressing and not sauce, let the goddess do her work, and suddenly the salad isn’t the thing you order before the good part. It is the good part.
Healthy and delicious were never supposed to be enemies. Someone just forgot to tell most salads.

What people say
Stelvio Toronto is a must-visit Italian restaurant for those looking to experience the authentic and regional cuisine of northern Italy. Unlike other Italian restaurants that serve typical dishes like pizzas and pastas, Stelvio Toronto offers a unique menu that showcases the flavors of Valtellina, a region famous for its cold cuts, cheeses, wines, and more. One dish that stands out is Pizzoccheri, a luscious Valtellinese dish made with buckwheat flour noodles cooked with cabbage and potatoes, seasoned with butter and local cheese. Another must-try is the "frog", fried cheese in small buckwheat balls served in a cone - perfect as a snack or starter. The zigeuner, ribbons of beef sirloin rolled up on a wooden stick and roasted to perfection, is also highly recommended. With its focus on regional cuisine and unique dishes, Stelvio Toronto is definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience.
