Born in Lucea, Jamaica, Chef Beryl’s love for cooking started as a little girl in the kitchen alongside her mother and grandmother, learning that the best meals are made with creativity, care, and bold flavour.
After migrating to Canada in the 1990s and building a successful corporate career, Chef Beryl made a life-changing decision: to follow her true passion for food and hospitality. That leap of faith became Beryl’s Pepper Pot.
Today, Chef Beryl continues to stay hands-on in the kitchen, creating new dishes, testing recipes, and connecting with guests who inspire her every day. Her journey is proof that with perseverance, confidence, and heart, passion can become legacy.
