Test knit alert ‼️

We’ve been secretly working on a companion piece to our Late Bloomer Mittens pattern… and now we can finally share it. Introducing the Late Bloomer Kerchief!
But before we release the pattern, we need a little help from our knitting community!
We’re looking for intermediate knitters with pattern-reading experience to test knit the Late Bloomer Kerchief and give us detailed feedback. Your help will make sure the pattern is clear, easy to follow, and error-free before we release it!
🧶 We’re looking for:
• 5 knitters using DK-weight yarn
• 5 knitters using fingering-weight yarn
• Knitters who live in Canada
• You should have public Instagram account + Ravelry profile where you can share your project
• Availability to complete the kerchief between August 14–September 10
• Willingness to share your finished project on October 1

Taking the time to mend your garments is a great way to preserve memories, hold on to cherished items, and avoid waste and over consumption.
Join Allie Davis this Saturday July 11, 1-3pm at The Knit Cafe as they lead you through various ways to breathe new life into beloved knitted items.
In this class we will focus on several techniques to repair knits: the classic woven mend, and felted mend to fill in holes, and duplicate stitching for embellishing and for reinforcing thinning areas. You do not need any knitting experience to acquire these mending skills.
All materials provided, and you'll work with knit swatches to hone your skills.
