Hi neighbours! Introducing a fun new idea from the bakeshop this summer.
We’ve put together a Summer Cottage Box, a little bundle of seasonal favourites for anyone heading out of the city or just want a taste of cottage life without the drive.
Each box includes a mini banana loaf, our super nutty maple granola, 4 butter tarts, and 4 mixed berry handpies, all baked fresh right here at the shop.
$55 plus HST.
We’re making these in small batches each week, so quantities are limited.
You can order online (link in the comments) or come order in person at the shop, whichever is easiest for you.
This week’s window:
Order by Sunday, June 28
Pickup Thursday, July 2 or Friday, July 3
We’d love for you to try one!

Today we’re celebrating the incredible women who make up the community around The Magpie. 🌸
From the women running their food businesses in our kitchen, to the bakers and team members who help bring everything to life, to the women who join our baking workshops, and the wonderful clients who come in for coffee and treats — we’re surrounded by creativity, talent, and generosity every day.
There’s something powerful about women coming together to build, share, and support one another. It lifts everyone up, and we feel so lucky to witness it here.
Happy International Women’s Day, and thank you to all the amazing women who are part of The Magpie community. We’re so grateful for you!
