SoSo Food Club SoSo Food Club was a Chinese restaurant located on Dundas Street W. The restaurant was known for its combination of wine and Chinese cuisine, offering an interesting pairing of flavors for its customers to enjoy. However, in March 2020, the restaurant decided to temporarily close due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although it hoped to reopen soon, in August 2022, SoSo Food Club announced on social media that it would be permanently closing its doors and holding a massive sale before shutting down for good. It thanked all of its customers for their support over the years.

We have come to the decision that the best way to ensure the safety of our teams and to slow the spread within the community is to temporarily close down our restaurant.

We want to extend comfort and encouragement to those in our community who have been impacted by COVID-19. While this is certainly a challenge for all of us, we are inspired to see the local and restaurant communities band together to protect and support each other in these extraordinary times. We hope that very soon we can reopen our doors to serve the community when it is safe to do so.

The public health risk posed by COVID 19 has entered a new phase and we feel it is important to update our friends and community about the steps we have taken. Our priority is the health and safety of our community.

For the last 2 weeks, we have intensified our protocols with more frequent and stringent hygiene procedures. This includes frequent hand-washing, providing hand sanitizer, removal of self-service stations and disinfecting high contact surfaces every 1-2 hours. In addition, we have tightened policies with regards to travel and illness. Everyone's health and safety is of utmost importance to us, and we are continuously adapting and finding new ways to minimize risk.

We ask that guests and team members that are exhibiting symptoms to please refrain from entering the establishment (when that dumpling craving hits, you know where to find us online).

As more people stay home to minimize potential risk, we ask that our community remember their local businesses and continue to support them. Please pick up groceries at your local store, get a prepared meal to go or delivered, buy coffee beans at your local cafe. Any little bit helps right now.
