What people say
The Shmooz is a charming coffee shop located on Pape Avenue in Toronto's Riverdale neighborhood. This cozy cafe offers an excellent selection of coffee, tea, and food that is sure to satisfy any craving. The service at The Shmooz is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are always happy to help. The space itself is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends or get some work done.
One thing that sets The Shmooz apart from other cafes in the area is their delicious muffins. In fact, they were recently nominated for best muffins in the city by BlogTO! But it's not just the muffins that make this place special - they also offer a variety of other tasty treats like cookies and poutine (which was only $1.50 during Canada Day weekend!). And if you're looking for something refreshing on a hot summer day, be sure to try their iced maple tea.
The Shmooz also has a great online presence, with regular updates on social media about new menu items, job openings, and even a mural created by a local artist. They truly care about their community and are always looking for ways to give back - like using edibles from a local garden in their chilled pea soup at a recent fundraiser.
Overall, The Shmooz is an excellent choice for anyone looking for great coffee, food, service, and atmosphere in Toronto.
