A familiar trail, a bag full of fiddleheads, and a reminder that some of the best ingredients aren’t found through suppliers.

For Chef Nick, foraging is part tradition, part curiosity, and part quiet time, a chance to reconnect with the places and flavours that continue to shape what we do at DaiLo.

Understanding food starts long before it reaches the plate.

Brown Butter Bibingka Madeleine ✨

White chocolate crémeux, raspberry.

Warm, nutty, and softly sweet. This is a refined take on a classic, finished with just the right touch of brightness. A dessert like this is part of our Tasting Tuesdays experience at DaiLo, where each course is thoughtfully curated to reflect the spirit of the menu.

Tasting Tuesdays is only available for a limited time. Make your reservation now - link in bio.

What people say

Asian restaurants are known for their unique and flavorful cuisine, and DaiLo on College Street in Toronto is no exception. With Executive Chef & Partner Nick Liu at the helm, DaiLo serves up delicious New Asian Cuisine that will leave your taste buds wanting more.

One of the standout features of DaiLo is their LoPan Cocktail Bar, which is open every Friday-Sunday from 11pm-2am. This upstairs bar offers a great selection of cocktails to complement your meal or to enjoy on their own.

Chef Nick Liu's dedication to his craft is evident in every dish at DaiLo. From the 90-day dry-aged rib cap and braised beef tendon pho beef carpaccio to the crispy rice noodles topping off the weekend bowl, every bite is bursting with flavor and creativity.

But it's not just about the food at DaiLo - it's also about the experience. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. And if you're lucky enough to catch Chef Nick Liu in action, you'll see firsthand his passion for cooking and creating dishes that are both familiar yet unique.

Overall, DaiLo is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Toronto.
