He’s been with us for four years. And with thousands of guests served and hundreds of thousands of oysters shucked, the time has come for us to bid a fond and reluctant farewell to the incredible Odin Ahlers.
Joining the Island Oysters team at the shop on Bartlett, he’s been with the restaurant at 1165 Bloor West since day one, emerging as a leader with a cool head, boundless work ethic, and an open, welcoming attitude.
A pragmatic and passionate soul, Odin has a background in engineering and the arts that has been pivitol to our success. He is a consummate hospitality professional, a loyal friend, and an adept problem solver. The only problem he can’t solve is what we’re ever going to do without him.
His last service with Island Oysters will be this coming Saturday. Please join us as we raise a glass to honor and celebrate our Odin!
