Apparently “I’ll save the rest for later” is one of the biggest lies we tell ourselves. 😂
No judgement here. We bake them. We know exactly what happens.

This is your sign to break your butter tart in half BEFORE you eat it. 👀
Because honestly… the inside deserves its moment too.
The filling. The layers. The mess.
Then eat both halves. Obviously. 😂

We have gooey centres.
We have buttery pastry.

If “OMG” had a facial expression… this would be it. 😂😍
Nothing beats watching someone try our butter tarts for the first time.
Especially when they weren't prepared for THAT gooey centre. 🤤

🎶 All around the butter tart tray…
POP goes the tart! 🥧💥
One little push, and out comes a whole lot of deliciousness! 😍
Handmade, packed with flavour, and popping out of the tins one by one.
Now the real question… which flavour are you grabbing first? 👀💗

You can literally SEE the moment the butter tart hits. 😂
That pause.
That look.
That immediate second bite.
We could write a whole paragraph telling you how good they are… but this reaction does a much better job. 😏

We can say “gooey” all day.
But pulling one apart tells the story a whole lot better. 🤤
THAT centre is exactly what we want you to find inside every box.

Traditional butter tarts walked so these flavours could RUN. 🏃♀️😂
We love the classic — but we also love asking:
“What else can we turn into a butter tart?”
And that question has gotten us into some delicious trouble. 😏

Tell us you LOVE it without telling us you love it. 😂
We’ll go first: 👆 THAT FACE.
This is exactly why first-bite videos never get old around here.

The filling pull deserves its own moment. 🤤
That rich, gooey centre tucked inside buttery pastry is exactly what a butter tart should be.
No sad little dry tarts over here. 😂

Flaky on the outside. Gooey where it counts. 🤤
This is your reminder that a great butter tart should NOT be dry, boring or forgettable.
It should make you immediately reach for another one.
We said what we said. 😂

Canada really looked at butter, sugar and pastry and said, “Yep. That’ll do.” 🇨🇦😂
And somehow created one of the greatest desserts of all time.
We just decided to take it a little further. 😉

Some people politely taste-test.
Some people take one bite and their entire face gives away the review. 😂❤️
We prefer the second kind.
Real people. Real reactions. REALLY good butter tarts.

WARNING: choosing just one flavour may be harder than expected. 😏
Traditional? Pecan? Something completely over-the-top?
That’s the fun of Carla’s Cookie Box — we don’t believe butter tarts should be boring.
