Holy Hot Tuesday!
We hope that everyone is staying cool and hydrated.

On Monday June 29th, my wife and I had the honor of being a part of 2026 TASTE of KOREA, held at Cirillo Culinary Academy, hosted by the Korean Canadian Business Association.

It was an amazing turnout and we got to witness cooking demonstrations from Mixologist James Park, and Season 1 White Spoon Contestant from Culinary Class Wars on Netflix Canada , renowned Chef Eun Ju Cho.

We got to sample some amazing food and then fasted on authentic Korean food prepared by Galleria Supermarket.

We were also graced by some amazing Toronto Chefs - Chef Craig Wong of Patois and Chef Nuit Regular of Jeff Regular

Thank you for coming and we hope you had a great time.

Special thanks to Cirillo’s Academy and their incredible staff, all the volunteers, staff and board members of KCBA and finally, biggest thanks to the President of the Korean Canadian Business Association, Hyun Joo Chae. Thank you for being a beacon for the Korean Community and bringing us all together to celebrate Korean Cuisine and Korean Culture.

Happy Canada to everyone tomorrow and Good Luck to Team Canada as they face Team Morocco in the round of 16!

We hope to see everyone throughout the summer months.

Olé Olé Olé Olé!!!

Last night, South Africa upset South Korea 1-0. Congrats to South Africa as South Korea will need help to make it to the Round of 32!

Despite the loss, my staff and I were actually watching the whole game to spot my wife in a commercial she was a part of!

Along with the restaurant, my wife, Jennifer Baek was featured in a FIFA Commercial for FanDuel! You can see parts of our restaurant was used for the commercials.
(I RECOMMEND TURNING UP THE VOLUME FOR BOTH VIDEOS, especially the 1ST Video!

I am really happy for my wife and really proud of her. She looks insane. Kudos to the make up artists for doing an incredible job.

When we saw Jennifer on the screen, we erupted as if South Korea won the World Cup!

To everyone watching, good luck to all the teams. We cannot wait to see my wife on TV for the next month.

Please do visit us whenever you are in Koreatown.
Thank you everyone for your love and support!

Happy Wednesday!

What a beautiful day today.

The May 2026 edition of the Yorkville Post ran a cool article asking 70 Toronto Chefs to pick the 70 best restaurants in the city.

We were mentioned by a chef or more as one of their favorites. This means a lot and we are truly honored to be part of this list.

We were grouped in the SPEND A LITTLE group which is cool with us. We are proud to provide authentic Korean food without people having to break the bank!

To the chef(s) who mentioned us, thank you!

To everyone who is not a chef, please visit us and to those who continue to visit us, thank you for your ongoing love and support!

Happy New Year!!! Happy 2026!

We want to let everyone know that we will be closed from January 20th, until January 29th due to Kitchen Renovations.

2025 was not a kind year to us.
We dealt with a fire.
We dealt with half of our sign falling off.
We dealt with rising costs and slower economy.

We will reopen on Friday January 30th, 2026!

I cannot stress how thankful I am to everyone for their love and support. This past January, I was blessed by alot of people. I don't usually celebrate my birthday but a lot of people reminded me it is not such a bad thing to celebrate one's birthday. Truly grateful for the reminder.

I need a break. My staff needs a break. My wife needs a break. I am going to use this time off to meditate, regroup, and come back with a vengeance! It will be: RETURN of THE KIMCHI JEDI!!!!!

Happy Friday everyone.

This post really means a lot to me. This one is special.

Recently back in August of 2025, Adam brought his family, visiting Toronto.
Adam is here tonight and this time Stacey's parents are back here tonight, all the way from Ottawa.

Adam saw me and wanted to give me a gift. He told me it was from his 9 year old Nephew, Ben.

Lately business has been really slow. Not just us, but many other small businesses are struggling. I have been stressed and honestly, really worried about the future.

After reading this note from Ben, all my worries and stress went away. I'm still blown away. This was from a young 9 year old boy.

Thank you Ben for inspiring me and reminding me of what's really important and why I love being at the restaurant.

This note is now at the front on the desk counter. Anytime I am feeling down, I just need to look to Ben's touching card and words of encouragement.

Ben, thanks for starting my weekend off on such a lovely note and thank you for your thoughtfulness, kind and loving spirit. I hope you always stay true to who you are.

I hope everyone has an awesome weekend.

GO JAYS GO!!!
GO LEAFS GO!!!

Game 4 is tonight for our Jays. Let's wish them luck and hopefully they can take care of the Yankees tonight!

Tonight is also the Toronto Maple Leafs season opener!

What a time to be alive as a Toronto Sports fan in the city of Toronto!!!

Wishing the Jays and Leafs all the luck tonight.

My wife and I got so excited. .baek decided to body check me and throw punches before the games got underway.

I got 5 Minutes for Fighting, 2 Minutes for Roughing.
My wife got a Game Misconduct for being too pretty.

Thanks everyone for your ongoing love and support. Things have been quiet and slow lately. We are always thankful and grateful for your unwavering support. We hope you will visit us or order takeout from us whenever you can!
