STAFF HIGHLIGHT
We're coming up to 2 years with Alex on our team, and we couldn't be happier. We can't imagine the space without him. He is the heart of our team and you can't find a funnier person. His laugh is contageous his smile lights up the room and
Alex is always bailing us out of the weeds when he arrives for his dishwashing shifts. When you look into the kitchen he is the first person you see. Make sure you say hi to him next time! He loves a good chat.

What's your favourite coffee/tea drink at the shop?
My favourite drink at the shop is the Mocha Latte because I am a choco-holic and I also love caffeine!
What's your favourite alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink at the shop?
I like w**e, preferably rose w**e. I tried this with my sister one time at the cafe and it was good.
What's your favourite pie flavour?
I would have to say that it is strawberry rhubarb pie! It's my favourite because it's delicious. Selena makes it and it is made with love! The whole place is filled with love!
What's your favourite menu item?
Fried egg sandwhich with cheese. Its made with FRESH SOURDOUGH bread, it's damn good.
What inspired you to join our team?
That's a tricky one. Well, I would say that I wanted to work with new people that I didn't know and to make new friends and to feel comfortable with them. I used to make coffees at another coffee shop and wanted to learn new things. The first time I met the team I thought that they were really nice and also strict, which meant that they were going to be good bosses!
Outside of work, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy?
Outside of work I do a lot of art and I love model trains. I like being outside and going for walks and seeing friends. I also love visiting my brother in Copenhagen or hanging out with my sister and her very lovable dog Misha.
What's one fun fact about yourself that our customers might be surprised to learn?
I have a beautiful condo with a beautiful cat named Logan. He is a Russian Blue. And I LOVE cooking. My favourite thing to make is Chicken Paprikash.

3 YEARS
Wow! We are so grateful! Can't believe this year has flown by so quickly.
It's been 3 years since we opened our doors, and you all showed up. Some days it's hard to believe how lucky we truly are. We have the best team, incredible regulars and absolutely wonderful suppliers. We couldn't have done this without any of you.
Through all the fun days, hard ones and the truly overwhelming times we wouldn't change it for the world. Our dreams are coming true every day and we are so happy to share it with all of you.
To our team, thank you for joining us on this ride and for being so incredible to work beside every day.
To our regulars, we feel so fortunate to go through this life with you and are truly excited to hear your updates on a daily basis.
To all of the farmers and suppliers that we work with. Thank you for always prividing us with the best service and products we could ever hope for.

ONTARIO PEACH PIE
Peach season is in full swing and we can't get enough of this pie!
Every week we head to 2 different farmer's markets to get our peaches from a couple farmers. Every Tuesday from Matz at TrinityBellwoodsFM and Saturday from Bizjak Farms at Wychwood Barns Farmers Market
The fruit we get in the summer is so incredible that we try to get as much as we can. We process and freeze the fruit so that we can keep the summer flavours for as long as we can.
Get the peach pie while you can, we don't know when we'll run out!
