Dear Valued Customers and Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Sloppy Joe’s, effective Monday, March 3rd. Due to a confidentiality agreement, we were unable to share this news earlier, but we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to you all.
Our father opened this business in April of 1971, driven by the dream of creating a neighbourhood gathering place that felt like home. Over the years, that dream has flourished, becoming not just a business but a cornerstone of the community. We have always strived to honour his vision, pouring our hearts and souls into continuing what he started.
It has been an absolute honour and the privilege of a lifetime to follow in his footsteps. The joy of seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones is something we hold in high regard and will continue to cherish. For two generations, spanning 54 years our family has been truly blessed to watch this place become a sincere reflection of the love and support of the community.
In recent months we have worked tirelessly to find the right individuals to carry forward our family’s vision. While we are stepping away, we are confident the new owners will offer you the same warmth and familiarity you have come to know and love.
After 27 wonderful years as Sloppy Joe’s, while we are saddened to close this chapter, we are also excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. This is not goodbye forever, as we will make it a priority to visit our many valued customers and friends.

To get to the bar & grill located on Lake Shore Boulevard W in Toronto, you can take the TTC by getting off at the Long Branch Go Station and walking along Lake Shore Boulevard West for approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively, if you prefer driving, there are a few parking lots available nearby, including one at the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard West and Brown's Line. From there, it's only a short walk to the bar & grill.
