It's been about 1 month since we got featured on Global News and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support. Our story was shared thousands and thousands of times and had over a million views in just a few days π€―
Thank you again to Lexy and Global News for sharing our story. Thank you to everyone from around the world sending us their well wishes, especially our fellow Filipinos. We got so many messages from people all over Canada, the US, Europe, Australia and of course the Philippines telling us how proud they were of us. I still don't know if we deserve all the nice words and attention but we are so very grateful and appreciative of every one of you.
Maraming maraming salamat po! Mahal namin kayo!
Thank you very much! We love you all!

Halo-halo is back at The Night Baker! π΅π
Halo-halo in Filipino means "mix-mix" and is the concept behind this famous Filipino treat.
It's a shaved ice dessert with A LOT of ingredients but for us we only picked and chose the mix-ins we actually liked (don't @ me). For TNB's Halo-halo we put in macapuno coconut strings, red bean, langka (jackfruit) and nata de coco with crushed ice and milk for the common mix-ins.
To make it extra special, we also add a crumble of our Keso Royale cookies and my Lola's absolutely delicious silky smooth Leche Flan.
And this year, we top all our Halo-halo's with Death In Venice Gelato 's new Ube Pie Gelato as our signature gelato topping.
Finished off with a condensed milk drizzle and you have yourself a delicious icy treat π
Our Halo-halo's are priced at $12.95 + tax each and available at all our bakeries all summer long!
Enjoy po! β€οΈ

The Night Baker's Desserts June 16-28 π΅π
It is Filipino Heritage Month and we have more Filipino inspired cookies on our menu!
Coming back this week is one of our most popular cookies, the Turon! Inspired by the Filipino dessert of the same name, it's a banana cookie with langka (jackfruit), skor toffee bits and a brulee topping.
We also have our Alfajor with our housemade Coconut jam and our Ube Cheese cookies with a cheddar cheese yema filling.
We've also just restocked THE BEST SILVANAS IN THE WORLD from our friends The FIRST Premium Silvanas & Sans Rival Bakery in Canada at all our bakeries. Whenever we restock Silvanas they go by really fast and most of the time we get sold out even before we get to post about them. Go get em while you can!
And finally we are back to Markham this week! We are going back to the Markham Village Music Festival this Friday-Saturday June 19-20 with Silvanas from Tito Parley's and cookies from yours truly. This might be our only visit to Markham this year so we hope we see you all there!
Thank you friends we hope you get to try our Filipino inspired menu which we think is one of our very best. We might have 10-11 (!!) Filipino inspired cookies for a few days this week and we hope you all get to enjoy them as much as we do.
Kain na! Let's eat! π«Ά

Our newest cookie the Cornbread Bibingka is our 115th original creation and is one of our specials for Filipino Heritage Month this June.
It combines the famous Filipino rice cake dessert Bibingka with the summertime staple Cornbread into one delicious new cookie.
It's also topped with Butter, Sugar and Cheese the same as the traditional Bibingka and represents the sweet and savoury elements that Filipinos love in our desserts. Masarap! Delicious!
Today is Filipino Independence Day June 12 and we hope we were able to celebrate the flavours of the Philippines well with this cookie and the rest of our Filipino inspired menu π΅π
We're really happy to share flavours from our childhood through our bakery and we hope you all get to try and enjoy them as much as we do βΊοΈ
