Don't know if it's too late (forgot to post this when I went and somehow managed to spend $50!) but there were a few great garage sales at and around 42 Westminster today.
I'm a guy who owns a bunch of hand tools now, like a planer...and a tool belt! :)

My 2 (now adult) sons donated their entire cache of guns to the little rascals next door.
I can't wait to hear the gentle thud of foam darts hitting my garage door soon.
And I'm proud of you boys (again).

Ernest Hemingway wrote a famous, 6-word story that comes to mind here.
Though I suppose this story should only be 3 words long: Found on Sunnyside:)

While the title of this month's photobox is "Swing & Miss," it's another home run.
Featuring striking thoughts on sugar and social media consumption.
Fielding insights from , surely one of psychology's greatest minds today.
It'll be required reading, viewing and reflecting in the household this weekend.
PS...if You've been following Us for any length of time, you know where the photobox is. ;)

If I were aka K$H, I'd still be waiting for a women's medium FBI jacket, and then I'd yell at actual SWAT agents to give me one of their patches to slap on my arm.
Luckily, I ain't him.

In case you're wondering...
1. Yes, gnomes are still cool AF
2. CΓ©ad MΓle FΓ‘ilte is "a hundred thousand welcomes" in Irish Gaelic
3. I've said before that you can usually tell a lot more about the front of a house from the garage in the back laneway, but in this case....
So to these homeowners near St. Joe's I say, "go raibh mΓle maith agat"

Congratulations on being the sh*ttiest bank on the street.
For those who don't read reverse post it note, the post its...
They were placed there at 9:30ish after I took money out of another bank down the street to make a payment at the CIBC ATM.
But of course the door was locked.
With a security guy inside. And another on the outside, who explained the doors lock every night between 9 and 9:30.
Presumably for extra convenience, though I would argue it fails to deliver on that front.
Even if you're a CIBC customer waving the cash you want to deposit at the guy inside.
Even if you've paid them god knows how much over the years for the privilege of lending and saving your money.
Even if you bought a bottle of Pine Sol and a sponge and used your cane to mop the floor where the ATMs are one Sunday, because the cigarette butts and the spilled beer and whatever else...stank to high heaven.
Even if you used your cane to squash a cigarette out because the guy smoking it had lit another...which got the guy on his feet threatening you before sitting back down to pout.
Even if the lovely Bulgarian woman using one of the ATMs at the time told you, once you were both outside, that you were "doing the Lord's work."
Well, I guess even then CIBC doesn't want you to pay your god damn bills with their sh*tty ATMs.
Ambitions Made Real?
Not, apparently if you're doing the Lord's work. The Lord can wait til the morning I guess.

Who could've guessed I'd go into today...but not for ice cream?!
Instead, it was this cool AF art, what's known as encaustic painting - with beeswax π! - by a cool AF, legendary Toronto artist and much more, .ann.artist.

They took the time to pantone color match like professionals.

I was on my way to Pollocks Home Hardware to get a wire brush and some varsol to clean this stain (the paint on the sidewalk, not the cat!).
But I decided not to.
I decided it should be a reminder.
For me anyway.
And for everyone that walks by.
That there are people that live in our neighborhood that have so much disdain for botanicals, and women, that they would rather vandalize a beautiful new store then welcome it.
I hope for your sake it wasn't you.
'cause Moist is awesome.
They saved my Schefflera, whose name is David, from near death after a risky trip to Quebec over the winter.
And I hear they have expertise in other areas too, which I look forward to learning about. :)
