A popular Toronto ice cream spot is making its way to Hamilton
Summer's Ice Cream , a family-run favourite from Yorkville, is expanding with a new location at 171 Locke St. S., taking over the former space of Amo Gelato Caffe, which appears to have closed after last season. Known for serving homemade ice cream for more than 40 years, Summer’s Ice Cream has built a loyal following with around two dozen small-batch flavours made fresh daily. Alongside its signature ice cream, the shop also offers frozen yogurt and sorbet options for vegan and lactose-free customers.
Hamilton ice cream lovers can soon look forward to another sweet addition to the city’s dessert scene.

To get to the location at Yorkville Avenue in Toronto, there are several options for public transportation such as taking the TTC subway to either Bay or Bloor-Yonge station and walking for about 10-15 minutes towards the location. Alternatively, you could take a bus that stops at Bay and Bloor or nearby intersections and walk from there.
If you prefer to drive, you can reach the location by taking either Bay Street or Yonge Street until you reach Yorkville Avenue. Once there, you can find street parking if available. There may also be paid parking lots nearby.
Please note that these directions may be applicable to other locations on Yorkville Avenue in Toronto as well.
