It’s with a tear in our eye, but endless gratitude in our hearts that we have to announce that after almost 8 years Major Treat will be winding down our Queen St location. We are expecting to serve coffees until Saturday, March 16. We’ll miss our friends at , who will continue at the 1158 Queen St shop.
We are so grateful to all of the amazing friends that we’ve made in the neighborhood and around the world; our customers, baristas, the local coffee community, the community initiatives and organizations we’ve been able to support, and everyone that has pitched in over these years to help make Major Treat such an incredible space.
The goal of the shop has always been to provide a rallying point for our community, where people with shared values for inclusion and positivity (no as****es!) could meet for great coffee.
We want to thank everyone who ever worked a shift, bought a coffee, sat on the bench out front, bought a mug or a shirt or simply smiled through the window. We hope you will come by to see us during our last weeks and maybe in some other capacity in the future. Much love!

50% of proceeds from MT tees & canvas totes will be donated directly to Sistering.

6 years of Bee ❤️
They’ve stuck with us through quite literally everything — since our early days back in 2017 — Stealing hearts at Queen (there’s a article to prove it!) before spending the last year running the show over at Brunswick.
We wish we could keep them forever but unfortunately (for us!) it’s Bee’s last day on our side of the counter. We do have a feeling that, if you’re lucky, you may still catch them hanging out at once in a while 😉

To get to the coffee shop on Brunswick Avenue in Toronto using public transport, take the 511 Bathurst streetcar or the Line 2 subway to Bathurst station. Exit on Bathurst St and walk north until you reach Bloor St W. Turn left onto Bloor St W and continue walking until you reach Brunswick Ave. Turn right onto Brunswick Ave, and the coffee shop is a few blocks down on your left.
If driving and looking for parking, please note that street parking in this area can be challenging. For available paid parking options, take Bloor St W and turn onto Major Street where there are several paid parking lots available within a few blocks of the coffee shop.
