Hey everyone!! Welcome to Pappu Charu in the 6ix!!
Here's a little bit about me. I grew up in Madras but my family is from Vijaywada and Machilipatinam. Andhra food is my favourite Indian cuisine and so close to my heart. I grew up watching my sweet Ammama (who was also my bff) cook for our family everyday. Each season and festival bringing in special Telugu recipes.
Biryani will always be #1 to ALL of us, and there's plenty of that and amazing Indian food in Toronto, but there not a lot places that truly reaches out to our Telugu community. So here I am wanting to share the memories of my childhood with you so you can enjoy homecooked Andhra dishes of our families.
I have a bunch of dishes that are close to my heart that you may definitely be missing, because I know I feel like home each time I make it and eat it myself.
I know we love our home-cities and our background, but I know we also love our new city Toronto! So that's how I came up with Pappu Charu in the 6ix!
I'm just starting out so kindly bear with me if I'm not perfect at being organized about my communication. But I’ll get there and do my best to respond to everyone promptly. I'm hoping to meet everyone and know your story as well.
Once I have my page set up with dishes and pictures and a way to order, it'll be a lot easier for you to understand what I do and how to order. Watch my posts for more.
Looking forward to hearing from the Telugu community in the 6ix!😊
