We’ve finished our last batches of prep and we’ll be open until we sell out of everything. We still have the full menu in stock for the moment but if there’s anything specific you want to order before we close, get on it quick! Delivery apps will be kept on.
We’ll post when we’re all out of food - probably today or tomorrow.

Remember when we said we had an announcement? It’s this!
People have been asking us for our recipes since we opened. And as much as we love empowering people to cook for themselves at home, our recipes just aren’t home cook friendly. There’s no way anyone needs to make 10 litres of mushroom gravy at once, or enough vegan mac and cheese sauce for several dozen people (if you do, let’s be friends).
We’re taking our recipes, adjusting the quantities and techniques for home cooking, and releasing them into the wild. Not only that, we’re also working on several pages of original artwork to fill up the book!
We’ll be selling it as a PDF ebook for Pay What You Want ($15 suggested). Just shoot us a DM and we’ll fill you in on how to order.
We’ll be including everything from our regular menu as well as some fan-favourite specials. Let us know if there’s anything you want us to ensure makes it in!
You can expect late November as our ETA, since wrapping things up at the shop is pretty all-consuming. In the meantime, enjoy our recipe for roasted red pepper hummus as a freebie!

All things must come to an end, and it’s time for us to be moving on. October will be our last month operating in the World Food Market.
If you had told us in February of 2020 what the next year and a half would bring, it’s pretty likely we would have stayed at our day jobs. We wouldn’t have dropped everything to spend our life savings on kitchen equipment and a non-refundable rent deposit in a downtown food market. Luckily for us we were blissfully unaware of what was coming, and so we took the plunge!
Pandemic-related challenges aside, knowing that we would get to connect with people over the food that we love to cook is what kept us motivated to come back every day.
The overwhelming response has been humbling (we see you, people who drove in from out of town just to try our food) and we’re just so grateful to everyone who has supported our shop this past year and a half.
We’re happy to be going out on a high note, so come and celebrate with us until the end of October! We’ll be running specials all month, and serving food until we run out.

With the beautiful weather and the patio being reopened, we’ve been busier than ever before! We don’t have the capacity in our tiny kitchen to prep any more food than we are now, and so we will be turning off Uber Eats, Doordash, and Ritual Friday through Sunday. This way we can ensure we have enough food to serve you all when you come in-person, and we can operate more efficiently on these busy busy weekends! Thank you so much for all your continued support, see you again soon!!

It’s been so busy that we’ve forgotten to post about it, but this week marks our one year anniversary of opening Sweet Po!
A huge thank you to everyone who has patronized and supported us this past year. It has been such a privilege getting to cook for so many people and it’s always a thrill to see newcomers become familiar faces become regulars.

If driving, take the Gardiner Expressway East and exit at Jarvis Street. Turn left on Jarvis and then right on Queen Street East. The food stall/stand will be on your left-hand side. There is paid street parking available in the area.
