ISEEEEEEEEEY! It’s another massive loss for our LBP family!!! Today is Isey’s last day at the shop and we almost don’t have the words.
It’s hard to believe your time at Larry’s has come and gone just like that. It feels like you’ve been with us since the start - always there to lean on, to lead the way, and to do it with a big smile on your face. It’s certainly hard to see you go, but we’re all excited to see what you create for yourself next and for chasing your dreams!! You know your Larry Gang will be the first ones to buy tickets! 🫡 Thanks for making us a stop along your journey and for keeping us all younger and cooler, and don’t forget to come say hi! Summer ain’t over til Clem says it is!!
We’ve been pouring a LOT of cold brew this summer and figured it was time to make it ~official.
We’re opening up a limited number of wholesale spots for our cold brew concentrate for your coffee shops, restaurants, bars, or anywhere you’d like to see it! 1 gallon jugs of Clem’s finest dropped right at your door. If that sounds like your kind of thing, send us an email at [email protected]!

Isha like fish-a! What a journey it has been, 3 years truly goes by in a blink. I still remember the relief I felt when you walked in with your resume. We’d been struggling to find the right fit for our new shop, but when you popped in just a few months after we’d opened, I knew instantly that you were the person to help take us into our next chapters on Dundas.
I’ll miss your “corties”, your silly jokes that only you could pull off, and the lightness you brought to every shift, but mostly I’ll miss the knowing that you’re there. You have been such an integral part of our beloved Back Pocket from the beginning, and I’m so proud that you’ve been so many people’s introduction to Larry’s. What a gift.
As you board the plane and enter your next chapter, I hope you can look back and admire the mark you made at Dundas and Gladstone. I am truly grateful.
With all this said, IT’S ISHA’S LAST WEEKEND AT LARRY’S!!!! PLEASE come by the shops Saturday and Sunday and shower her with love and say your goodbyes. She’s been a key part in so many of our lives these last couple of years and deserves a lovely send off. Jagerbombs to celebrate maybe?

Helllloooo baristas!!! It’s that time of year. We are looking for that special someone to join our team up at Larry’s Back Pocket.
Some details about the job!
- 4 shifts a week
- Weekend availability a must, as well as early morning starts!
- $18.25 an hour to start, with daily cash tips and biweekly card tip out.
- Confident working alone in the shop.
- Available to start on boarding asap!
- Recent and robust coffee experience a must, food prep and/or baking experience an asset.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The official beginning of summer! And more importantly, the anniversary of opening the doors of our beloved Back Pocket : “) Look how far we’ve come!
Every year at the festival, Sid takes a picture of us in our tent and every year we get more hungover and tired I guess haha? Come by this year and see if the tradition continues!
Little context for this weekend:
- Queen will be open regular hours.
- Dundas will be closing at 1pm on FRIDAY so we can setup.
- Dundas will be open INSIDE the shop from 8am to 10am SATURDAY & SUNDAY.
- We will only be serving on the street after 10am! We will have hot coffee, cold brew, butter tarts and lemonade! And maybe some new merch (stay tuned).

Mamma mia what a week! Our oven broke down, the internet stopped working, the ACs were acting up, one of the espresso machines was being weird, the roof was leaking…when it rains it pours (literally). We were starting to think someone cursed us lol. But alas!! We persevered! We took a limo to the Keg Mansion and feasted together! It’s gonna be nice out soon! And it’s the weekend! We’re all smiles and ready for you. See you tomorrow🫡
