A little story about “Jackie,” our 1973 GMC P15 Value Van. 🚐💨
It took one full year of hard work to finally serve our first cup of coffee. None of this would be possible without the incredible support from our clients, vendors, friends, and family. Thank you for booking us for your private events, and thank you for buying our coffees when we are out on Marine Parade Dr or at UofT! ☕️✨

It was a warm, sunny day in June 2025 when I first saw her. A young gentleman in his 90s ;) was walking back from a nearby cafe with an espresso in hand.
— “Do you want to sell it?” I asked.
— “Why?! Do you want to buy it?” he smiled.
After 5 minutes of great conversation and a few follow-up meetings, I officially got the keys in August 2025. 🔑

The previous owner is a walking history book. He used to sharpen knives across Toronto and the GTA in this very van for the past 50 years—and he did it almost to the day he gave the keys to me! So many Toronto residents know him. Before we painted the truck, people all over the city would stop me to say they recognized the van or they know the man who drove it.

Thanks to a twist of events years ago, my dad became a mechanical engineer. That expertise contributed a lot to transforming a mobile knife-sharpening shop into a fully functioning coffee truck. Step by step, evening after evening, my dad and I built the vision together. 🛠️❤️

Now, you can find Jackie serving up fresh espresso at Coronation Park, right near Exhibition Place. Will try to be there regularly. We always post an Instagram Story as soon as we set up, so keep an eye out. 📍👇
