Sharing my hand-drawn sketch of this beautiful Victorian-style mansion from Siddhpur, Gujarat, India.
These elegant homes were built by the Dawoodi Bohra trading community during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The area is fondly known by locals as “Vohrawad” or “Paris Galli” or “Rangbirangi Gali” — a street celebrated for its vibrant colors and stunning architecture.
I created this artwork using pencils, drafting pens, and coloured pencils, carefully capturing the intricate details and charm of this historic place.
Hope you enjoy this little tribute to such a unique and colourful heritage.

My hand-drawn sketch of the door design of the Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam in Multan, Pakistan, created using pencils, drafting pens, and colored pencils.
This tomb is one of the most significant and impressive examples of pre-Mughal, Tughluq-era architecture in the Indian subcontinent. The deep-relief floral and biomorphic motifs carved in sheesham wood convey strength and harmony, while the surrounding blue and turquoise Multani kashi-kari tiles create a mesmerizing geometric rhythm.
Its conservation and recognition — including the 1983 Aga Khan Award for Architecture, administered by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture — underscore the monument’s enduring architectural and cultural significance.
