What people say
Tropical South is a must-visit spot for anyone looking to indulge in Cuban/Caribbean cuisine in Brampton. Located on Main Street N, this snack van, food truck, and restaurant offers a unique fusion flair style that will leave your taste buds wanting more.
Their signature dish, The Original Cuban Burger, is a 90-year-old tradition that is served Miami-style with a unique cut of skinny fries. The burger is smothered with melted mozzarella cheese and topped with their own original Cilantro Island Mojo sauce. It's no wonder why they say "90 years of tradition in one bite"!
In addition to the burger, Tropical South also serves up traditional green plantains mini crunch size chips called "The Chicharitz", which are served with their own original sauce. They also offer the authentic "Pana Puff" pastry buns filled with guava paste w/cream cheese and the Cuban flan - all made from their own original recipes using products sourced locally in Canada.
Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a full meal, Tropical South has got you covered. Their food truck is family-run and offers catering services as well. So head on over to Main Street N and experience the delicious flavors of Cuba and the Caribbean at Tropical South!
