"Pongalo Pongal!" 🌾✨
The joyful greeting exchanged during Pongal!
🌟 May your days overflow with happiness, health, and prosperity. 🌟
Let’s celebrate this season of gratitude, joy, and love together! ❤️

What is Pongal?
A secular Tamil festival with traditions dating back thousands of years, rooted in farming. Pongal celebrates gratitude for nature by honouring the Sun, Earth, and cattle through family-centred rituals and feasts.

✨ Fun fact: Tamil is one of the world’s oldest spoken languages—and our mother tongue! 💛

Pongal is a 4-day festival of celebrations, that echoes the spirit of Canadian festivities 🍁:

🦃 Thanksgiving’s gratitude
🌟 The New Year’s fresh start
🌾 Harvest Festival’s abundance
🌍 Earth Day’s respect for nature
🎄 Christmas’s joy and togetherness
All rolled into one joyous celebration honouring abundance and new opportunities! 🌞

Celebrate With Us! 🎉
🍚 Sakkarai Pongal: A traditional sweet rice dish made with jaggery (brown sugar), ghee (our version is vegan!), and spices, symbolising gratitude and prosperity.

🌟 Have dessert on us!
Mention "Pongal" in your next online order (takeout or delivery) to enjoy a FREE dessert! 🍮
📅 Valid until 31 Jan 2025.

Thank you for celebrating with us and making this festival even more special! 💛
