Cocina de Doña Julia was an authentic Ecuadorian restaurant located on Dupont Street in Toronto. Founded by a grandmother's dream of opening her own restaurant, it garnered continued support from the Ecuadorian community and neighbors alike. The restaurant offered amazingly authentic Ecuadorian food, with dishes such as hornado cooked to perfection. Sadly, Cocina de Doña Julia has been permanently closed since the retirement of its founder in August 2021.
