Can’t believe how fast this summer went by! Feels like it just started, and here we are already in September!!
A little flashback to a dinner I had the pleasure of cooking for a wonderful family. These beautiful ribeye steaks were hard seared, packed with BBQ flavour, and cooked evenly to that perfect medium-rare. 🔥🥩
Summer is always such a fun time to cook, grilling outdoors, enjoying the beautiful evenings, and sitting down together over good food.
I hope everyone had an amazing summer filled with lots of BBQ, outdoor dining, good food, and even better company. ❤️
Thank you to all the wonderful families and guests who let me be part of their summer gatherings. It truly means a lot!
Now… onto fall! 🍂

Seafood Lover’s Dream 🦪✨ | Private Chef Dinner in Port Colborne
I haven’t visited Port Colborne much since moving to the Niagara Region and I actually realized this was only my 4th time here over the past few years! What a beautiful, quaint little gem. 🌿✨
This time, I had the pleasure of cooking for these lovely local ladies for a special bachelorette dinner and what a setting it was! ☺️💖
The beautiful cottage was surrounded by trees, making it feel like a little forest-bathing escape in nature. 🌲🌿 With the refreshing summer nights weather, peaceful surroundings, and the beach within walking distance, it was such a wonderful place to gather, dine, and celebrate.
And of course, this dinner was a seafood lover’s dream. 🦪✨
From freshly shucked oysters to delicate capellini pasta with octopus, clams, mussels, squid and shrimp tossed in a Silky Roasted Garlic Shrimp Emulsion, alongside an abundance of roasted seasonal vegetables, every dish was made to celebrate the flavours of summer.
And for dessert? A special request: almond lemon olive oil cake 🍋✨ the perfect bright and beautiful ending to a summer celebration.
So grateful for opportunities to cook in these beautiful corners of the Niagara Region. ❤️

A homemade berry cake layered w/the freshest blueberry and blackberry compote, celebrating the best of Niagara's berry season. 🫐🍰
As we move into July and August, berry season is at its peak, making it the perfect time to enjoy cakes filled with fresh, locally harvested fruit. There's nothing quite like the flavor of sweet, sun-ripened berries in every bite.
I can't wait to create more seasonal cakes and desserts featuring the incredible bounty our local farms have to offer. 💙

One of my clients requested Homemade gluten-free butternut squash ravioli and of course, challenge accepted! ✨
Here's a Little sneak peek behind one of my private dining bachelorette weekend experiences. 🤍
Gluten-free ravioli can be a little tricky since the dough tends to be drier and more delicate, but I loved the challenge. I took my time to make sure every bite stayed soft, moist, and full of flavor.
To finish, I gently warmed the ravioli in brown butter with fresh sage, then served it with a light and airy summer butternut squash sauce, topped with crushed toasted hazelnuts, freshly grated Parmesan, and garden-fresh basil. 🌿
One of my favorite parts of private dining is creating dishes that are personalized for each group and bringing their requests to life.
I hope you enjoy this little behind-the-scenes look from my kitchen! 💛

POV:Your job is to keep a bachelorette crew well-fed while they're busy making unforgettable memories. 💃🍴✨
This weekend, I had the best time cooking for a group celebrating a beautiful two-theme bachelorette! From the décor to the weekend wine tours, the love and effort that went into the weekend was next level. 💍🤍
There's just something so special about feeding a group that's gathered to celebrate someone they love. Full hearts, full plates, and so many laughs, it doesn't get much better than that.
Congratulations to the beautiful bride, and thank you for letting me be a small part of such a fun weekend! 🥂💖

One of my favourite parts of being a private chef is getting to celebrate my clients' special moments. 🤍
Last year, my client hired me to cater a bachelorette weekend for her friend. This year, I had the pleasure of cooking for her intimate wedding celebration at their summer home in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
For her special day, we put together a menu filled with all of her favourite dishes and requests. From appetizers to dessert, every course was chosen with the bride in mind, making the evening feel extra personal and meaningful.
There’s something so special about celebrating at home, with the people you love most gathered around one table.
Thank you so much. I'm beyond grateful and happy to have been part of such a beautiful milestone. It was truly an honour to cook for you and your loved ones. Wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of love, happiness, and many delicious meals together! 🥂✨
